Shapes in Our Environment

Shapes in Our Environment

The children in first and second classes explored both 2D and 3D shapes in our local and natural environment by going on a shape hunt. We noticed cylinder pillars on the shed, rectangular windows and bricks, a traffic cone, cuboid-shaped bins, and much more! We also cut out 3D shape nets and stuck them together to create cone, cylinder, cube, and cuboid-shaped snowmen to link in with our winter theme.
